"I brought my daughter, Rachel, to The Story Train when she was in the 8th grade. At that time, I was a very frustrated parent. My daughter has severe dyslexia and was unable to complete any of her homework. Both she and I were at our wits end. Then I learned of The Story Train Literacy Center. I'll admit that meeting Sharen has been one of the most important aspects of my daughter's academic success. Ms. Robertson evaluated Rachel and determined her academic strengths and weaknesses. My daughter was instructed by Sharen until she graduated from Coyle Cassidy High School. Rachel attends Colby Sawyer College in New Hampshire and she continues to meet with Sharen on an as-needed basis (for papers, etc.).
